CareGivers takes excellent care of my grandmother, who has Alzheimer’s. My grandfather was getting overwhelmed with her care, and I no longer live in the Elmira area to pitch in. I contacted CareGivers a few months ago to see about finding him some help and the manager, Vera, went out of her way to get me all the information I needed on home care services. It was important to me that my grandparents feel comfortable with the people that would be in their home, but I didn’t need to worry about that – Vera matched my grandmother with two fantastic care aides who share her love of books and card games. It’s difficult for my grandfather to watch his wife decline (she has good days and bad days) – but CareGivers has made his life easier. He now has time to enjoy the good days with her. I am so glad I found them!
